For Scott, the best part of being a financial advisor for over 20 years is collaborating with clients to craft strong plans that are designed to support their life goals. As a firm believer in the adage, “the days are long, but the years are short,” he feels it is important to make the most of the journey along the way. He works with clients to establish the daily savings and investment routines today that are designed to support near and long-term goals, like creating memorable family vacations, providing for children’s education and toward building a secure retirement.
Scott’s financial advisory career began at a predecessor firm of Wells Fargo Clearing Services. In 2008, he helped found HNS Advisors, an independent practice. His focus is on planning and analysis to help each client’s portfolio progress in line with their goals.
In his spare time, Scott enjoys distance running, fishing and spending time with his wife, Jenni, and their three teenage children, Molly, Jack and Becca. He also serves as a board member of Brookfield, Inc. He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Virginia Commonwealth University.
